Stanford students visited Mostar
Within a study tour in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia (Zagreb, Sarajevo, Mostar and Dubrovnik), the students of postgraduate study MBA (Master of Business Administration) from the prestigious Stanford University visited Mostar on 25 March.

The theme of travel is’ ” Learning capitalism: Governments in developing countries, business and public infrastructure sector’. In the visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, 30 students and several professors from prestigious American universities visited the full range of successful entrepreneurs, investors, politicians and various institutions. The aim of this trip is equally education and cultural exchange with the intention that students better understand global challenges in all areas.

Their host in Mostar is inclusive kindergarten ” Sunshine Bridge ” (Diakoniewerk-Austria), as an example of a successful multi-ethnic educational institutions in Mostar, which for 14 years, brings together children from all over the city, including children with disabilities, as well as children from socially disadvantaged families.

In addition to visiting the kindergarten ” Sunshine Bridge ”, the students also visited the INTERA Technology Park, where they presented the work of the Chamber of Commerce of the City of Mostar as well as several projects of young start-up entrepreneurs.
